Addison is a 5 to 6 year old Cock-a-poo! She is an ABSOLUTE doll if you can't tell just by looking at her. She needed rescue to save her at a local shelter due to having cataracts. She is such a Happy-go-Lucky girl despite her vision loss. She is good with other dogs, kitties, and kids of all ages. She has been vaccinated, spayed, micro-chipped and is negative for Heartworms. She is now just awaiting her appointment with the doggie eye doctor. Homeward Bound and her foster mommy are hoping she can have the cataracts removed since she is still a young girl. Farrah is a gorgeous little angel that needs a break. Farrah was born in to a bad situation. Her and her family are products of a backyard breeder.
When the breeder went out of business he gave his dogs to rescue, which is a blessing for Farrah. Farrah has been in foster care for three months.
In foster care she has learned to be a new doggie.
Before coming to her foster home, Farrah had NO human interaction and she was scared and mostly feral.

She still needs TLC and a patient family that will continue to work with her and give her love and confidence.

Dudley is a one year old spunky, fun-loving, playful Yorki mix. He can be a little shy when meeting new people but don't let that fool you! He LOVES his people once he gets to know you. Dudley deserves the best home ever but will need someone to be patient with him until he gains confidence in his new home. He is a pint size dog (7 lbs) with a GIANT personality!
Presley was 14 weeks old when he was brought into the shelter with both hind legs fractured. Due to the severity of his injuries he was probably hit by a car. One fractured leg healed well, the other did not and had to be amputated. With therapy he is learning how to walk again on three legs. Even through his traumatic injuries his tail has not stopped wagging. He is a very sweet puppy looking for his special family.

Spike is a 3-4 year old American Pit Bull Terrier who was rescued from AAS back in April by someone who did not care for him and treat him right. He came back in poor condition but has totally healed, gained back all weight, and is now ready to go to his forever home! Despite not having the best of luck, Spike has always remained a happy go lucky dog! He is very friendly to people and lives for attention, he does very well with other socialized and friendly dogs, but would prefer a home without cats. He knows basic obedience (sit, stay, down, off, lay down..ect) and is generally a calm, laid back dog! He is house and crate trained, and he does very well in public situations. He listens well and he walks great on a leash! I highly suggest his adopters to use a harness! He responds extremely well to that versus something around his neck. He still has a little puppy in him and likes to play fetch and play with toys, but he also naps hard! He loves being a couch potato! He has been through quite a lot and has come out of it like a champion, but he will still need a family who understands his troubled past, and take steps to giving him the best future.

Slim Jim as you can see is not "slim" anymore however he was severely emaciated when he came to HBAR weighing only 6 lbs. From day one in his foster home he has been the most loving little guy ever! He has a WONDERFUL personality and all he needs to be happy is a lap to sit in. He is somewhere between 2 to 3 years old, neutered, vaccinated, and Heartworm negative. Mac has so much personality packed into such a small dog, his foster parents don’t know how he could have ever wound up on the EU list at the shelter. He was rescued one hour before he was going to be put down and is very grateful for his second chance! He loves to play with big and small dogs, walks well on leash, he’s kennel trained and he likes to amuse his foster family by prancing around the house with his legs up high. He’s an excellent cuddler and sleeps through the night on the bed if you’ll let him, or in the kennel … he’s flexible like that.
